As part of the three-member DFG delegation Professor Mantel will attend the Indian Symposium on Computing for Science Discovery and Innovations: A Roadmap in Mumbai in February.

He will participate in the panel "Computer Science Research: Basic Research, Embedded Systems and Building Scalable Systems". Other panel members include P. Anandan (Microsoft Research India), Manish Gupta (IBM Research), Ravishankar Iyer (UIUC) and N. R. Narayana Murthy (Infosys).
